Army Public School, Dagshai celebrated its 37th Founders’ Day on 1st June 2023. The celebration was based on the theme ‘As the leaves turn’, which showcased the past, present and future of our country with a dance drama. The students put up an exhilarating display of finesse for the parents to enjoy and cherish for years. Brig RS Rana, Commandant 14 GTC Subathu and Chairman APS Dagshai was the chief guest and MrsManjuRana was the guest of honour.
As many as 300 students participated in the event to present a breath taking amalgamation of dance, music, and drama. Visitors had the opportunity to witness stunning displays of artwork, scientific projects, technological innovations, and much more.
The Annual Prize Distribution Also Took Place, Nehru House Was Adjudged The Overall Best House And Won The Cock House Trophy For The Session 2022-23, Nehru House Had Won The Athletic Shied, Cross Country Trophy, Co-curricular Activities Trophy And The Hindi Calligraphy Trophy For The Session 2022-23. Mannatverma Won The Student Of The Year Award, Tashika Chauhan Received The Award For Scoring First Position In Class Xii With 96.2 Percent Marks. While Speaking On The Occasion The Chief Guest Reiterated The Fact That Army Public School Dagshai Is A Residential School And This School Provides An Overall Development Of The Child And Plays An Important Role In Grooming Up Child’s Future. He Also Motivated The Children To Join Defence Forces And Serve The Nation. The Celebrations Concluded With A Vote Of Thanks By The School Captain Followed By The National Anthem.

An Adventure Summer Camp Was Organized For Western Command Children By 14 Gtc Subathu From 11th June To 18th June 2023. Various Activities And Competitions Were Organized For Students. Miss Lavisha Gupta A Student Of Class-viii Participated In The Philately Exhibition And Presented Her Stamps And Philately Material On 14th June 2023. Total 154 Students Witnessed The Exhibition. The Chief Guest For The Occasion Maj Gen. S.n. Mehta, Cos, Hq 2 Corps Was Accompanied By Brig.r.s Rana, Comdt 14gtc Subathu And Nodal Officer Major Meenakshi Delhi Area. Brig.r.s.rana Appreciated The Students For Their Commendable Performance, Lavisha Was Awarded With Memento And Philately Kit.

The teachers joined the school after their summer break on 19 Jun 2023. They joined back with palpable sense of enthusiasm and a renewed commitment to academic growth and personal development. The school was abuzz with a vibrant and auspicious atmosphere as the staff gathered for a special welcome puja ceremony.
In a heartwarming turn of events, the principal and teachers joyously welcomed the students after their summer break. The students, along with their teachers and school staff, are excited to reunite and resume the educational journey. A special school assembly was organized on 20 Jun 2023 wherein the principal encouraged the students to face their challenges with smiles and optimism.
. A session was taken by Mr Vinod Kumar-IT Supervisor to train the educators to infuse technology in planning the lessons. It helps teachers and students create new innovative methods of learning and teaching. Besides this, it helps educators give every student equitable access and a voice in the classroom that helps them build confidence and 21st – century skills.
(a) The 37th Founders’ Day function was well coordinated without any glitches, attended by a large number of parents and everyone spoke highly about the function and the efforts put in by the students and teachers.
(b) The priority after conclusion of Founders’ day must be academics and sports.Class X and XII result must speak for itself. The teachers teaching class X and XII must try to complete their syllabus by first week of October so that pre boards may commence from the next week, followed by gap of one week and another pre board thereafter. This will ensure that the students are well prepared for the Board Examination.
(c) Teachers to plan strategies to bring about a better result enhancing the API for the next academic session.
(d) The House wardens to maintain a record of haircut and Dhobi on a weekly basis. The same to be put up to the Principal for signature.
(e) Assistant House Masters/ Mistress to share responsibilities with the House masters/ Mistress and assist them whenever needed.
(f) Mr Jitender Sharma to ensure that ID Cards are made for all students and teachers. It will be mandatory for students and teachers to wear an ID Card in school during school hours.
(g)Another MOD Roster to be floated for duties that will only be pertaining to the Academic block in school hours ensuring cleanliness and timely arrival of teachers for their lessons.
Teachers teaching Mathematics must give homework every day. Other subject teachers may give written work or revision work to learn. The same to be written in students’ diary and signed by teachers taking the last lesson.
(j) Every activity conducted in the school must be on the Facebook or Instagram page for wide publicity. Class Teachers to share the Facebook page with parents and request them to follow it to ensure that they are updated with all the activities of the school.
(k) All class teachers to take the follow up on fee with the parents of their respective classes. The fee details must be collected from Mr Vinod Kumar, Accounts Clerk.
