Aahana Baraal of class XII-Hum and Aryaman of class IX participated in the Under 19 District Badminton Championship held at Solan Sports Complex on 03rd Aug 2024. In an exhilarating display of skill and determination, the school’s badminton team emerged victorious in the tournament. Aahana won the girls singles titles and our team comprising of Aahana and Aryaman secured the 2nd position in the mixed doubles.
Four students of our school namely Aahana Baraal, Shreya Patil, Aryaman and Anshuman Singh participated in the 2 Corps Inter Army Public Schools Badminton Tournament at APS, Patiala from 10th – 12th Aug 2024. Our team reached the Semi Finals in all categories.
Solan Public School, Solan organised an Inter school cultural competition on 3rd Aug 2024. Many schools from the adjoining areas participated in the Inter School Event. Our school won the following positions in various categories. Abir Mukherjee won the first prize in painting competition. Our dance team was the 2nd runner up. The music team was 2nd runner up in junior and senior category. Skazang Tsering Lamo and Khushmeet Saini were also 2nd runners up in the debate competition.
A team comprising of eight students participated in the Padma Shri J K Kate All India Inter School Knowledge Conclave at Punjab Public School, Nabha on 12th and 13th Aug 2024. The events included Book Review, Movie Review, Storytelling, Debate, quiz, creative writing and wall magazine. Tvisha Dave bagged the first position in the story telling while Khushmeet Saini bagged the 2nd runner up position in the creative writing.
Our students participated in the Inter School Competition ‘Symphony’ organised by Aarohanam Sahodaya Schools. The competitions were held in two phases on 09th Aug 2024 at MRA DAV and 17th Aug 2024 at The Doon Valley School Nalagarh. The students of our school got an opportunity to showcase their skills in many events at various levels. In the senior category creative writing competition, Divesh of class IX got the first prize and the dance team bagged the 1st runner up position in the senior category.
In the competitions held at The Doon Valley School, Nalagarh, the students of our school won the first prize in Mime competition in both Junior and Senior category. Saujanya won the first prize in the Declamation competition.
Eight of our outstanding students proudly represented Army Public School Dagshai at the Lawrence School Sanawar Model United Nations (MUN) 8th to10th Aug 2024. Our delegates—Stanzin Dhontsal, Tvisha Dave, Shriya Dey, Prabhav, Abhi Yadav, Harsh Sharma, Varisha Gandhi, and Lois Thakur—engaged in deep, insightful discussions on some of the most pressing global issues, from ongoing conflicts to the refugee crisis. Tvisha Dave received a ‘Verbal Mention’ in the Parliament of the UK committee – a testament to her exceptional contributions.
